Import / Export data

Support to import from other apps like Strong & Hevy, and potentially a pre-defined .csv format, alongside support to export into a .csv format

This would be a very useful feature - more around a communicating a defined JSON/.csv structure for import. Users then could use ChatGPT or Claude to create personalised workouts to easily import to Strongsplit - I would be a big fan! Which then of course leads to personalised workout creation within the app… :)

Right now there isn't an import function, but there are plans to do so in the future, may I know which app you were using?

More broadly, this points to data portability as a theme, covering both export and import use cases. Supporting the transfer of past training history as well as saved routines would make it easier for users to back up their data, migrate between devices or platforms, and maintain continuity over time. Framing this as a holistic data portability capability could provide more long-term value than export alone.
