Simplify Supersets

Ability to superset to the next workout in the routine rather than having to key in new workout. Similar to Alpha Progression. Thanks!

Are you referring to being able to configure supersets in a routine, so that you could use it for future workouts? If so, that should already be available.

Suggestion 1: Improve Superset Creation Flow Currently, when creating a superset in the app, I’m required to manually input the second exercise, even if that exercise is already part of my planned workout list. For example, if my workout is: Barbell Rows Pull Ups Leg Raise Bench Press Face Pull Lateral Raise After completing Barbell Rows and moving to Pull Ups, if I want to create a superset with Leg Raise (which is already in the list), the app asks me to add a new exercise instead of selecting from the existing ones. This results in duplication: Barbell Rows Pull Ups <> Leg Raise Leg Raise (duplicate) Bench Press Face Pull Lateral Raise I then have to manually delete the duplicate, which interrupts the workout flow. Suggested Improvement: Allow users to select an existing exercise from the current workout when creating a superset, instead of forcing them to add a new one. Optional enhancement: Prompt users with something like: “Do you want to superset this with the next planned exercise?” Benefit: This would make workouts smoother, reduce unnecessary steps, and prevent duplicate exercises from being created. Suggestion 2: Include Superset Exercises in Progression Tracking Currently, progression suggestions do not take into account exercises performed within supersets. For example, if I perform: Pull Ups <> Leg Raise The app logs the workout, but the Leg Raise performed in the superset does not seem to be considered for future progression recommendations. In a later session, when I perform Leg Raise as a standalone exercise, the app does not suggest an increased weight or progression based on the previous superset performance. Expected Behavior: Exercises performed in supersets should still be tracked as normal sets and included in progression calculations. Reference: Apps like Alpha Progression track progression for exercises regardless of whether they were performed individually or as part of a superset. Benefit: This would ensure consistent progression tracking across all workouts and help users maintain proper progressive overload, even when using supersets. This might be abit much to ask, but regardless I enjoyed using your app. The look feels so minimalistic which makes it even cooler. Thank you !

Ah I see, really appreciate the detailed explanation. The rationale for the current design to have the superset tagged to another exercise is so that you don't have to manually complete both exercises. But I do think that your point is very valid, especially with the new set suggestions & progression. Had some ideas of implementing some form of grouping in the future as an alternative to the current superset setup, but there will be significant redesign changes needed. An alternative would be to incorporate the exercise performance metrics & suggestions into the current superset configuration.
